The owners of Northrop Grumman Plaza have effected numerous energy savings measures throughout the properties including lighting retrofits, energy efficient motors and variable frequency drives plus instalation of refelctive window film.

As a culmination of these efforts, the buildings have been awarded the prestigious Energy Star Building Label for Energy Performance in 2003, 2004, and 2005. This program is administered by the Environmental Protection Agency and is awarded only where properties meet strict benchmark criteria. Aside from the environmental benefits, these measures result in lower operating costs and real savings to tenants.
